Dr. Christine A.O. Obondi has been confirmed as a Keynote speaker during Research Week 2020.
she will speak during the virtual 2nd International annual Conference on Project Planning and Management. The theme of the conference is “Recasting Project Management to Address Sustainable Development Goals”
Dr. Obondi is the Deputy Director, Probation & Aftercare Service, Kenya. In 2017, she received her PhD from The University of Nairobi, Kenya. A seasoned officer, she is recognized in spearheading the adoption of evidence based practice in the design and implementation of community correctional programmes, monitoring and evaluation framework, curriculum development as well as a trainer in programme delivery.
She is a co-author of articles on the design of correctional programmes with an interest on sexual offenders, special needs offenders, victims of offences and resettlement of offenders. She is a member of Kenya Association of Project Mangers (KAPM) and a member of the International Society of Project Monitoring and Evaluation (IProMES).
She has attended and presented academic papers in both local and international conferences. She has published widely in areas of design of correctional Programmes with an interest on sexual offenders, special needs offenders and resettlement of offenders. She is an effective and self-driven mentor of PhD students in the University of Nairobi.
