The Kenya National Highways Authority (“KeNHA” or “Contracting Authority” or “CA”) has embarked upon a Public Private Partnership (“PPP”) process under the Kenyan 1 mover roads PPP programme. As part of the requirements of this programme and the PPP Act, the CA intends to procure an Independent Expert (“IE”) to assist in the implementation of the design, build, finance, operation, maintenance and transfer of Nairobi-Nakuru-Mau Summit Road (A8) of (the “Project”) in pursuance of the provisions of the Project Agreement (the “PA”) as entered into between the CA and the Project Company (the “PC”), Rift Valley Highway Limited on 30th September, 2020 for the implementation of the Project.
