A team from the Defence Forces Medical Training School led by Lt. Col. Hellen Kimotho paid a courtesy call the University of Nairobi to discuss request to Benchmark with University of Nairobi Faculty of Health Sciences by the Defence Forces Medical Training School.
The Defence Forces Medical Training School is a medical training facility in the Kenya Defence Forces. The School is in the process of transitioning into a college of Health Sciences as a constituent college of the National Defence University – Kenya (NDU-K) and would like to benchmark with the University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Health Sciences.

The team was received and welcomed to the University by the Associate Vice-Chancellor (RIE), Prof. Margaret J. Hutchinson, who conveyed the Vice-Chancellor’s greetings. She expressed the University’s gratitude and wiliness to benchmark with the Defence Forces Medical Training School. Also present was the Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. James Machoki and the Associate Dean, Prof. C.F. Otieno.
