H.E. The President launched the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign on December 21, 2022. The Campaign targeted the planting of at least 15 billion trees by the year 2032. In this regard, the University of Nairobi has committed to participate in this important exercise by planting trees on the respective campuses.
To support the campaign, the University organized a tree planting exercise which was attended by the university community led by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Margaret J. Hutchinson. In attendance too was the DVC(RIE) Prof. Francis J. Mulaa and DVC (AA) PROF. AYUB GITAU.
