Research Week 2021 Kicks off

The 4th Annual University of Nairobi Research Week kicked off on a high note with three (3) conferences starting on Day 1. By the end of the event, over 500 participants would have benefited from, 30+ keynote presentations, 150 abstracts, and 8 conferences with the overarching theme ‘Rethinking Research, Innovation & Technology for Sustainable Development.

The University of Nairobi wins Kenya Space Agency Research Grant

The University of Nairobi emerged top to win the Kenya Space Agency (KSA), Research Grant for the FY 2021/2022. KSA had set aside Kshs. 10 million for the award of Research Chairs meant for the development of 3U Nanosatellite Model, Land cover data collection Application Development and Small-Scale crop mapping Application using Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
