Deadline for Submission of Abstracts for Conferences of the Research Week Extended

In what is expected to be one of the biggest research events in the country, the Second Edition of the University of Nairobi Research Week shall be held from October 22-25, 2019. The Research Week shall feature a series of conferences, workshops and seminars across a broad array of disciplines. The event has 13 confirmed conferences and 2 seminars.

The conferences include the 1st International Conference on Open, Distance and E-Learning. the 2nd Annual Victimology and Victim Support Conference 2019, AGRO 2019 Conference & Exhibition, the 2nd Annual Nairobi International Multidisciplinary Conference, Architecture and Engineering Conference, the 2nd Annual International Conference on Research and Innovation in Education, the 2nd Annual Conference on the Status of African Women, the 1st Annual Development Finance Conference 2019 and the African International Business and Management Conference (AIBUMA). The two seminars are 1st Annual Research Grant Proposal Writing MasterClass and the 1st Annual Conference on China-Africa Relations.

The National research Fund (NRF) is one of the sponsors of the event while the Nairobi Safari Club (NSC) and Acadamia Kenya are the strategic partners. We call upon other organisations to support us in developing the research ecosystem in the Country.

The deadline for submission of abstracts for conferences has thusly been extended to the 31st of August 2019 to make sure that we include all that are interested in presentations.. So far, some conferences have attracted abstracts from Europe, USA and Africa. Participants are expected to register for the relevant events.
