Prof. Omwoyo Bosire Onyancha has been confirmed as a Panelist during Research Week 2020. He will present during the virtual conference on “The Value of Information Governance, Leadership & Ethics in Higher Education Institution”.
Prof. Onyancha is a Research Professor at the Department of Information Science, University of South Africa. Prof Onyancha was the Head of the Department of Information Science, University of South Africa, from July 2011 to September 2015. He holds a PhD in Library and Information Science. Prof Onyancha is a C2 NRF-rated researcher. His areas of research interest include Informetrics, Scientometrics, Altmetrics, Information Resource Management (IRM), Management of Information Services, Knowledge management and organisation, user education, ICTs in LIS education and training, and Information Searching and Retrieval (ISR).
