The Commission for University Education has invited University of Nairobi (UoN) to participate and exhibit at the 4th Biennial Conference on Universities Research and Innovation to be held at Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) from 12th- 14th June 2024.
This activity is aligned to promoting research and innovation in universities, which is a critical mandate of the Commission for University Education as articulated in the Universities Act No. 42 (2012).
The theme of the conference is
Catalyzing Systemic Social Transformation Through Research and Innovation.
The conference is expected to stimulate discourse in the university sector that promotes knowledge generation and innovative thinking that nurtures National development Goals as provided for in Kenya Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The purpose of the conference as an exhibitor, the university will have a platform to:
a) Unveil trailblazing research endeavors and groundbreaking discoveries.
b) Showcase commitment to fostering a culture of innovative thinking and tackling pressing societal challenges.
c) Promote academic programs by highlighting the university's distinctive curriculum and niche areas.
d) Forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders from industry, government, and other
institutions.
e) Meet,potentiol research funding agencies and publishers.
