Climate Smart Agricultural Projects

The AGCO Agriculture Foundation (AAF) is accepting grant applications for the 2022 granting cycle through our Community Investment software partner, Benevity. The goal is to identify non-profit organizations with new project proposals which combine various sustainable methods to tackle the specific climate change-related challenges of today’s farming communities.

Neurosciences and Mental Health New Investigator

Apply for funding to:

  • research Population and Systems Medicine
  • take the next step towards becoming an independent principal investigator.

You must have:

  • a postgraduate degree
  • the support of a host research organisation eligible for MRC funding.

There is no limit to the funding you can apply for, but the typical full economic cost of a project is under £1 million. MRC will usually fund 80% of the full economic cost. This funding usually lasts three years and covers up to 50% of your salary.

CHEST Foundation Young Investigator Research Grant

Funding to enable promising investigators to encourage and promote quality research in chest medicine to begin their career as independent research faculty.

The CHEST Foundation is the patient-focused philanthropic arm for the American College of Chest Physicians. The CHEST Foundation was established in 1996. Its mission is to champion lung health by supporting clinical research, community service, and patient education.

Call for Applications: BIEA Annual Thematic Research Grants

The BIEA invites applications for funding for original research projects in any discipline in the humanities and social sciences in eastern Africa and beyond. Projects that fall outside of these disciplinary areas are not considered (for example, we do not fund projects in STEM subjects). We particularly welcome applications from researchers or research teams who have limited access to other sources of funds.

CHCI-Mellon Global Humanities Institutes 2023: Call for Interested Centers and Institutes

Since 2012, the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes (CHCI), supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, has advanced multiple forms of international, collaborative research designed to foster new knowledge and new networks. Building upon the first phase of this project (2012-2017), in which 26 member centers and institutes contributed to four distinct projects, and with the support of a new grant from the Andrew W.

PhD Candidates in Social Policy: Horowitz Foundation Grants

The Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy was established in 1997 by Irving Louis Horowitz and Mary E. Curtis Horowitz as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. Its general purpose is to support the advancement of research and understanding in major fields of the social sciences. Its specific purpose is to provide funding to aspiring PhDs in support of research that is innovative and addresses urgent social policy issues.
