HR in HE Community Challenge Grants

COVID-19 has disrupted life globally, and the higher education sector is no exception. HR professionals have continued to play a vital role in supporting university leaders, staff, and students to navigate the challenges caused by COVID-19 and future ways of working and learning.

In light of this, the ACU is introducing a new Challenge Grant for HR practitioners at ACU member institutions to support their universities to achieve their missions in this ever-changing world of work.

Innovative governance, environmental observations and digital solutions in support of the Green Deal (HORIZON-CL6-2021-GOVERNANCE-01)

In support of the Green Deal, common agricultural policy and farm to fork objectives and targets, the successful proposal will focus on how to discover innovative ideas and how to enable the relevant actors to work out these ideas in a co-creative way as from the very start of the making of the proposal. The expected outcome of this topic is to develop sound, coherent and well-prepared innovation generation and support methods, which enable individual grassroots innovative ideas to come to fruition.

Call for expressions of interest: Managing organization (hub) for responsible artificial intelligence in agriculture and food systems in Africa

This call for expressions of interest is open to individual organizations based in lower- and lower-middle-income countries (LLMIC) in sub-Saharan Africa that have demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence innovations in agriculture and food systems.  

Only organizations that meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the call document should submit an expression of interest to host the innovation network.

Call for expressions of interest: Women’s Economic Empowerment in a Low-Carbon COVID-19 Recovery

This call for expressions of interest (EOIs) is open to organizations with legal corporate registration, based in low- and middle-income countries.  

We encourage applications from institutions and consortia of organizations with multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder, and diverse teams and collaborative projects with partnerships between research organizations, policymakers, private-sector actors, and non-profit and grassroot organizations.

Call for applications: UNESCO International Fund For Cultural Diversity (IFCD) 2021

Call for applications to the UNESCO International Fund for Cultural Diversity is now open. Established under the 2005 convention on the protection and promotion of the diversity of cultural expressions, IFCD is a voluntary multi-donor fund which supports the emergence of dynamic cultural sectors in the developing countries.
