Dr. Victor Odundo Owuor has been confirmed as a Keynote Speaker at the 3rd Annual International Multi-Disciplinary Conference of the Research Week 2020. The theme of the conference is “Global and Local Response to Emerging issues in the Second Decade of the Millenium: Opportunities and Threats.”
Dr. Victor Odundo Owuor is a Fellow at the One Earth Future Foundation (OEF) in Broomfield, Colorado. Within this role he scopes for and develops new OEF initiatives around the Horn while also supporting ongoing regional implementation programs. Prior to his duties as an OEF Fellow, he was a Senior Research Associate. His primary responsibility at OEF during that stint was to lead the Business and Governance research track.
Victor was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Colorado, Boulder from Fall 2013 to Spring 2019. He has also been part of the Community of Scholars at University of Denver, Colorado. Victor received his PhD from the University of Texas at Dallas in December 2012. The title of his dissertation was “Destabilizing Dark Networks: The Case of the Somali Piracy Saga and its Financial Implications for Kenya.”
