RESEARCH WEEK 2023

Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Innovation and Enterprise Prof. Margaret J Hutchinson is delighted to welcome researchers, staff and students to join the University of Nairobi research week, which runs from 23rd to 27th October 2023. This is the sixth Research week that the University is organizing, and will bring together various conferences, and webinars spread across the ten faculties .

University of Tennessee Visit to University of Nairobi - June

A team from Tennessee University from the USA will be visiting the University of Nairobi from 22 - 23 June 2023 to sign a collaboration agreement.

During that time they will visit Wangari Maathai Institute and department of Nursing Sciences too.

ARUA Conference and Networking Meeting 2023

Prof. Margaret J. Hutchinson, Associate Vice Chancellor (RIE), Prof Fred Bukachi Lead of the ARUA CoE on Non-Communicable Diseases, Prof Fredrick Otieno Associate Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr Anne Kamau, Faculty of Health Sciences and other University of Nairobi Members among the many other members from Various Universities and Organizations who attended the ARUA Conference and Networking Meeting 2023.

A team of researchers from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria made a courtesy call to the Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Enterprise. The team, which is attending a conference in Kenya, led by Prof Fatai O Anafi, was received by Prof Justus Munyoki, Director Researcher and Enterprise UoN.
