Kenya Innovation Week 2022

The University of Nairobi through Intellectual Property Management Office attended this year 2022 Kenya Innovation Week. This event was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Kenya Dr William Ruto. on 6th December 2022 at the Sarit Centre

Kenya Innovation Week intends to champion relevant policy engagements on innovations within institutions while promoting practical skills necessary to create innovations that impact people. In addition, Kenya Innovation Week purposes to strengthen the research and commercialisation practices for greater socio-economic impact.

 Dr Joseph Mwaniki From UON Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Chemistry showcasing His Innovation at KIW Sarit Centre

Dr Mwaniki, from UON, Faculty of Science and technology department of Chemistry showcased a Robotics innovations. The innovation in robotics demonstrated that local available materials can be used to make robotics innovation that provide solutions to medical and scientific based experiments in laboratories.Indeed there is a lot of genius and innovations in our universities.
