University of Nairobi participated in this year Kenya National Research Festival 2024 . The event was held at The Edge Convention Centre, College of Insurance-Nairobi. It took place from  19th to 23rd August 2024

In attendance was the DVC(RIE) Prof. Francis J. Mulaa, Director Research Prof Justus M. Munyoki  among other staff members and Exhibitors.

From University of Nairobi we had three innovators as follows

1. Mr. Otieno Otieno with WAKAZI Artisan Platform

2. Mr. Martin Nanje with Potato Harvester

University of Nairobi won the Seed Grants for "Enhancing the capacity of PhD students and Early Career Researchers on Grants Proposal Writing from the CARTA Consortium.

It is in this regard that the office of DVC(RIE) organized for a Workshop on development of training guidelines and toolkits for enhancing capacity of PHD students and early career researchers on grant proposal writing that was held at Maasai lodge from 6th to 7th August  2024.
