The AAU, in collaboration with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, ICANN, is inviting you to participate in the Universal Acceptance (UA) Day Celebrations, happening on Tuesday 28 March 2023.
Universal Acceptance (UA) ensures that all valid domain names, including long new Top- Level Domains like .org, .net, .com, .info which are part of urls and email addresses, can be used by all Internet-enabled applications, devices, and systems regardless of script, language, or character length. UA also supports the ability for email mailbox names to use characters in local languages and scripts through Email Address Internationalization (EAI) standards.
The UA Day provides an opportunity to rally local, regional, and global communities and organizations to spread Universal Acceptance (UA) awareness and to encourage UA adoption with key stakeholders.
