FP-DYNAMO-PARIS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

FP-DYNAMO-Paris Fellowship Programme offers a unique interdisciplinary environment and a fundamental research initiative in the centre of Paris to train the scientists of tomorrow in the field of physico-chemical biology. The goal of the research programme is to integrate knowledge on gene expression, structural and membrane biology, and bioenergetics in bacteria, chloroplasts and mitochondria in the general context of improving our understanding the biogenesis of energy-transducing membranes.

Gerstner Scholars in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology

The American Museum of Natural History seeks highly qualified applicants for a postdoctoral position for its Gerstner Postdoctoral Scholars program in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. In addition to seeking outstanding applicants pursuing comparative biology research through computational and bioinformatics methods in the broad range of disciplines noted below, the 2021-22 application cycle also includes a special call for applicants who want to pursue aspects of comparative biology research relevant to human health or biomedicine.

The objective of this scholarship programme is to promote the development of university teaching staff in universities and build capacity for staff in the public sector through postgraduate training in selected postgraduate study programmes at the institutions listed below.

Werner Baltes Junior Fellowship

Within the scope of the Werner Baltes Fellowship, ten qualified and committed young scientists from the new EU member states and non-European countries are given the opportunity of a three-month stay as guests of the BfR. Through this support, the fellows are able to gain an insight into the diverse tasks of the BfR in the field of consumer health protection and are encouraged to acquire further qualifications at the Institute at the same time.

TWAS-UNESCO Associateship Scheme

In collaboration with UNESCO and a number of centres of excellence in the South, TWAS has instituted a Joint Associateship Scheme to enable competent researchers from the South to visit these centres regularly. An associate is appointed for three years during which he/she can visit a Centre twice for research collaboration. TWAS provides travel support for the associates and a contribution towards subsistence costs up to USD300.00 per month while living expenses are covered by the host centres.

African Peace building Network: Individual Research Fellowships

The African Peacebuilding Network (APN) of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) invites research fellowship applications from African researchers, policy analysts, and practitioners working on conflict and peacebuilding issues at universities and research institutions; or regional, governmental, and nongovernmental agencies or organizations based in Africa.
