Prof. Thomas A. Senaji Confirmed as a Keynote Speaker at Research Week 2020

Prof. Thomas A. Senaji has been confirmed as a Keynote speaker during Research Week 2020. He will speak during the virtual 2nd International annual Conference on Project Planning and Management.  The theme of the conference is “Recasting Project Management to Address Sustainable Development Goals”

Prof. Senaji is the Deputy Vice Chancellor at The East African University, Kenya in charge of Academics and Research and a Professor of Strategy and organisational behaviour. He in a consultant with wide experience in telecommunications, management and information and communication technologies (ICT) covering policy, strategy, operations and projects. He is a consultant expert on broadband strategy and related areas such as standardization, conformance and interoperability, quality of service / experience, regulation, and human capacity building.

Working with the ITU and the Universal Postal Union (UPU), his most recent and current consultancy engagements are Development of Model Broadband Plan and Broadband Gap Analysis for the Southern Africa Development (SADC), and Electrification and Connectivity of Post Offices in Africa. He has consulted and completed the development of guidelines for broadband master plans for the SADC region and elaborated national broadband strategies for the Republic of Namibia and for the Kingdom of Eswatini. He has also developed the National ePost strategy and the Malawi Posts Corporate Strategy for Malawi as the lead consultant and was lead consultant for the development of Kenya’s National Broadband Strategy 2018-2023.
