Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme for Engineering

Strengthening Mobility and Promoting Regional Integration of Engineering Education in Africa (SPREE) is one of the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Schemes. supported projects with 5 partner universities in Eastern, Central, Southern, Northern, and Western Africa. Applications are invited for SPREE mobility scholarships. Ghent University acts as a technical partner.

SPREE is designed to provide resources and opportunities for students mobility from four regions of Africa, offering support for Master's and Doctoral studies as well as staff exchange among the consortium partners.

The following programs are available:

  • Mobility for Masters Students (Degree-seeking mobility) at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (Nigeria); University of Zambia; Moi University (Kenya).
  • Mobility for Masters Students (Credit Seeking mobility) at Ain Shams University (Egypt).
  • Mobility of Doctoral Students (Degree-seeking mobility) at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (Nigeria)
  • Staff Mobility (length of stay 1-3 months) at Ain Shams University (Egypt), Federal University of Technology, Akure (Nigeria), University of Zambia, Moi University (Kenya)
