EXPLORING AREAS OF COLLABORATION
The Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor (RIE) on 15th November 2022 received courtesy call from UNEP representatives , to explore on areas of collaborations, research, publications, policy briefs and student supervision among other things between UNEP and UON.To also look at strategic partnership,hosting events with UON, Innovative technologies in food systems, focus on bringing science to pragmatic level, Call for junior fellows- Recently graduated Young researchers/ Career development, Align Research mandate to GEO 7 ,Review of sustainable development goals and to position UON to take the lead.
Importantly How can UNEP work with the University? this is the question to explore.
UNEP celebrated 50th anniversary recently and has been in Kenya since 1972.
UNEP has four Divisions namely:

- Ecosystem Division
- Economy Division
