The Faculty of the Built Environment and Design Library has organized a Library Expo on 26th to 27th April, 2023 at ADD Main Hall.

The purpose of this Expo is to raise the consciousness of the user community on the academic significance of the library and draw attention to the important role it plays in their academic life.

The event takes the form of an exhibition of selected library resources in a social forum with interactivity between ADD library staff and all categories of user’s notably teaching and non teaching staff, students and the library staff. This exhibition will showcase library resources to the students and faculty. In addition, the event present an immeasurable opportunity for the ADD Library customers to acquaint themselves with emerging trends in information access and use.

The objectives of the Library Expo Day are to:

i)    Increase use of the information resources;

ii)    Promote use of the physical library;

iii)    Promote underutilized resources;

iv)    Contribute to the improvement of scholarly output by promoting utilization of various information 

       resources for teaching, learning and research;

v)    Promote academic integrity.

 The activities  include: exhibition, presentations and training on access to information resources and academic integrity.
