2-Day Visit to DTU Skylab, Lyngby Campus, Denmark

University of Nairobi Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama, Deputy Vice Chancellor (RIE) Prof. Margaret Hutchinson and H.E. Ambassador Diana Kiambuthi from the Embassy of Kenya in Stockholm visited the DTU Skylab innovation hub in Denmark

The purpose of the visit was part of a new partnership that UoN has established with t DTU Skylab innovation hub given UoN  is the largest and the oldest University in Kenya.

The new partnership is centred on strengthening innovation in Kenya and Denmark through collaboration between the two universities. UON were interested in how DTU fosters both research-based innovation and student innovation through the many programs being offered and throughout the many facilities at DTU.


“We not only want to teach our students at the University of Nairobi to be employees in various industries, but we can also teach them to become the employer,” the Vice Chancellor said during the visit.
