On behalf of the Vice Chancellor  Prof Stephen Kiama, Prof Margaret J. Hutchinson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation And  Enterprise (RIE) received courtesy call from the University of Washington led by Prof Carey Farquhar and Prof Stephanie Page from the University of Washington who came around for the Agenda for Annual Review Meeting 2024 University of Nairobi STD/HIV/SRH Collaborative Research Group being held at the Serena Hotel Nairobi.

Dr. Ezekiel Mecha who is an endometriosis research expert and a Senior lecturer at the University of Nairobi has unpacked what his appointment to the World d Endometriosis Society (WES) Board means for Kenya.

Dr Mecha who holds a PhD in Reproductive Endocrinology from Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany was in May 2023 appointed to join the board of the World Endometriosis Society (Board ) where he will serve on the Global Liaison Committee for a period of two years (2023-2025).
