The workshop was organised under the project titled "Participation of Women in Economic Leadership and Academic Institutions in Kenya," led by a dedicated team including Principal Investigator Prof. Tabitha Kiriti-Ng’ang’a, AWSC Director Prof. Wanjiku Kabira, and technical leads across various workstreams.

The University of Nairobi (UoN) has launched a strategic digital programme to bolster its global research visibility and institutional ranking. A high-level workshop convened by the Research, Innovation, and Enterprise Division (RIE) underscored the commitment to ensuring that the university’s world-class scholarship and innovations are accessible to local, regional, and global audiences.

The University of Nairobi, through the Research, Innovation, and Enterprise (RIE) Division, is finalising a new Research Policy framework that will solidify its position as a global centre for discovery. The policy will also ensure that the research function is in step with the University’s 2023–2027 Strategic Plan; higher education regulatory requirements; and national, regional, and continental development priorities.
