The Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor (RIE) on 17th November 2022 held an Online Policy brief training which was facilitated by Prof. Raphael Nyonje and Dr. Parita Shah.
Dr Parita Shah presented a presentation on understanding a Policy brief, why it is important and the structure of a policy brief.

Associate Vice Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Enterprise, Professor Margaret Hutchinson met with the Secretary General of ARUA Prof Ernest Aryeetey and other female DVCs from stellenbosh, Logos, Ibadan Universities for a Data gathering and Benchmarking Workshop at the Protea Hotel, Technopark, South Africa.
This was a a three day Conference starting form 1st November to 3rd November 2022.

Kenyan youth have been urged to engage in farming. This was the clarion call that the keynote speaker, Dr. Lusike Wasilwa, Director Crop system at the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO), made as she delivered her keynote speech during the opening ceremony of the 5th annual research week on Monday 24th October, 2022.
“You need a farmer 3 times a day” she reiterated.
