A team led by Prof. Madara Ogot through the Global Innovation Policy Accelerator programme (GIPA), supported by NESTA (UK) sought to develop a deep understanding of Kenya’s innovation policymakers, their context, needs, challenges and activities, as a precursor to developing innovation policies that match the society’s ambitions. The completed report highlights what has been learned about the challenges and priorities of innovation policymakers working in Kenya.
Justice George Vincent Odunga has been confirmed as a Keynote Speaker at the 3rd Annual Victimology and Victim Support Conference, Research Week 2020.
He is currently the Presiding Judge, Machakos High Court, Kenya. An Alumnus of the University of Nairobi, he attained a Bachelor's degree in Law from the institution in 1992.He was Admitted to the Role of Advocates as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya on 23rd February 1995. He started off his career at Behan & Okero Advocates where he was a former partner.

Dr. Dorothy Njiraine has been confirmed as a Panelist for the Value of Information Governance, Leadership and Ethics in Higher Education Institutions Webinar, Research Week 2020. She is the Chairperson and Senior Lecturer, Department of Library and Information Science, University of Nairobi, Kenya.
She holds a Doctorate of Library and Information Science (University of Zululand, South Africa), MSc. in Information Science (Makerere University, Uganda), MBA (Moi University, Kenya), PGD in Librarianship (Makerere University, Uganda) and B.A. Hons (University of Nairobi, Kenya).
Prof. Dennis Ocholla has been confirmed as a Panelist in the Value of Information Governance, Leadership and Ethics in Higher Education Institutions Webinar, Research Week 2020. He is a Professor and Head of the Department of Information Studies since September 1996 and has also served as Faculty and Vice-Dean.

She completed her PhD on the impact of quality assurance on university libraries at the University of South Africa in 2012. She has been involved in the development of quality assurance documents, documents, accreditation and audit of universities and academic programs in Kenya for over 20 years.
Prof. Justus Wamukoya PhD, has been confirmed as a panelist for the Value of Information Governance, Leadership and Ethics in Higher Education Institutions webinar, Research week 2020. He is the Dean, School of Information Sciences, Moi University since 2014. He has extensive University teaching and research experience in Kenya and Botswana. His teaching and research areas focus on records and archives management, e-Government, Knowledge Management, Public Sector Information and Records Management and Open Data.
