CRC AND CLCLPRO VISIT TO THE FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Prof. M. Hutchinson, Associate Vice Chancellor (R.I.E)  on behalf of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama officially opened the Commission for  Controlling  the  Desert Locust in the Central  Region (CRC) and  Commission  for  Controlling  the  Desert  Locust  in the  Western  Region (CLCPRO) visit to the Faculty of Science and Technology UON..

UON AND ARUA HOLD A FOLLOW UP MEETING ON CARNEGIE DATA PROJECT

The Carnegie-sponsored ARUA Data-Gathering and Benchmarking Capacity Building Workshop held in Accra a fortnight ago was very successful. There were over 40 participants from 14 member universities. On 12th July 2022 the office of the Vice Chancellor (RIE) received   a visitor (Consultant/data coach) Dr Emmanuel Nii Abbey to discuss the work being done with data staff, assess the institutional support for the data-gathering exercise,  and discuss how best ARUA might be able to assist in improving the quality of the data and enhancing further the capacity of the data team.

According to Dr Collins Odote Senior Lecture Faculty of Law UON, In the Business Daily Newspaper published on Monday May 16 2022, The direction that the country takes politically and the speed with which it moves is determined by the kind of developmental ideas that candidates put forward during the election campaign and that they get to implement should citizens support those ideas by voting them into office.
