The Carnegie-sponsored ARUA Data-Gathering and Benchmarking Capacity Building Workshop held in Accra a fortnight ago was very successful. There were over 40 participants from 14 member universities. On 12th July 2022 the office of the Vice Chancellor (RIE) received a visitor (Consultant/data coach) Dr Emmanuel Nii Abbey to discuss the work being done with data staff, assess the institutional support for the data-gathering exercise, and discuss how best ARUA might be able to assist in improving the quality of the data and enhancing further the capacity of the data team.
This is to inform and welcome you for the upcoming Research Week 2022 that will be held in the University of Nairobi, from 24th -28th October 2022. Hosted by the Associate Vice Chancellor Office, RIE.
